    Mystery Stock

    Finally got around to wiping this stock down, it was very dirty from years of laying in a pile, discarded no one wanted it anymore. Its really nothing special has a crack through he wrist, cartouche has been sanded but oh if she could talk. Looks to probably be a SA/GHS and its a Barnwood Stock .

      Makes me wonder if Bill and Pat were buddies that were KIA. What stories that stock could probably tell. Goodness.

          Nice example Bill, I would guess by the 91 in the barrel channel it is a SA GHS as I use to track the barrel channel letters/number and sometime serial number. There is always a chance of overlap into the EMcF era too.

          The very early SA SPG barrel channels were routed-out in a different method and often with a single letter - photos will show the variations
