Buttstock cleaning gear- arrangement in the stock

Greetings! I am sure that my question has probably already been answered- and if I were bright enuff, I could find it. Alas......


Have been fortunate enough to have acquired a 1930s Rock Island 1903, an Remington 03A3, and an HRA Garand from the mid 50s. Apparently I did something good in a former life and I am being rewarded for that- all 3 are immaculate. And all 3 have empty buttstock compartments. I THINK I have the contents to properly fill them- was wondering if there is a DIAGRAM showing what, and in what order- the cleaning gear goes in for each rifle? Yes, I was an Infantryman- sometimes we can be a bit.......slow. Pictures- good.

Eddystone did not make an 03A3. Remington and Smith Corona made 03A3's.
If you have an Eddystone it is a Model 1917.

As JAK said. If you have an Eddystone you have a Model 1917. Only Remington and Smith Corona made 1903A3's.

Correction- 03A3 is a Remington. Having been talking with a gent about buying his Eddystone- which IS the 1917.

Unfortunately, he knows what it is worth...........
