    A Neat Follower Arm Pin

Many thanks to a special friend for sending this along to me. It's fascinating to me, because I've never heard of one like this and surely have never seen one. I just spent an hour going through all of my parts and rifles looking for another one like and no luck.

Notice the concentric rings, and that it has the "oil pocket" compared to the early pin without the oil pocket.

    Any thoughts?

I have some trigger pins with rings. Never gave it much though, just figured a difference in manufacturing

The early follower arm pin with the groove under the head and step at the bottom were around for a long time. My Lend Lease from Nov 1941 also
      has one too.

You can figure Winchesters had them too

        Very neat.
What do you think about the concentric rings on the head of the pin?

The rings on the head are just machining marks. Nothing special.

            Thanks Jon,
I ended up using this pin in my December 1941 restoration just in case it was something special. Either way, it's pretty neat.
            Thanks again for the info.
