Stock storage door

I have a VERY stiff stock storage door. The only way I am able to open it is to use a screwdriver, I use tape on the tip, to pry it open. My question is what is the best way to loosen the door so it is not so stiff.

You can try putting some oil on the buttplate door plunger and hinges. The other possibility is that the buttplate and or door is damaged or bent from getting slammed into the ground.

If regular oils doesn't seem to do it, try a drop or two of Kroil. Worms it's way into the tiniest of places. (Great stuff if you have a stuck tap and you don't want to break it trying to remove it.)
If you can't find that, SeaFoam Deep Creep is a good second for general light lube.

Kroil oil worked well for a while. I feel dirt and real fine, very fine sand, like human dust, you see it in the air in the sun lite. I used Mobil one, if you go to the range and shoot, it’s always dusty, still use my tool to open a plate I have, not installed on a rifle.
