    Trigger guard

I’m pretty sure this is common knowledge or something I should know. But here it is. When ever I fire my garand the trigger assembly unlatched the trigger guard from behind the trigger and the whole assembly drops out. Do I need to replace the trigger assembly. The guard. Or the stock to fix this. Thanks in advance. -New garand owner

You have either worn compressed wood on your stock and or worn lugs on the trigger guard. If lugs have flat spots replace it. I should have a trigger guard I would sell if you decide to go that route
You can also shim the bottom of stock if guard doesnt tighten it enough
