The one thing you can't resist?

What's the one thing you can't resist that is M1 related? For me it is SA en-bloc clips, I was just at the local fun-store on Saterday and they must have drug out a fresh basket of mixed clips. Always on the hunt for SA en-bloc's I started picking threw them, one here, one there. After a few minutes I drug out all 10 from in the basket. There in good condition just needing a good cleaning and some oil. Being a cheap skate that I am, I thought $2.00per was a good buy.

Now, I'm not a collector like some guys are but SA en-bloc clips are my thing if there affordable, I will pick one up here and there. So is anyone looking for anything special?

If my spares bin is any indicator, bolts are my thing. I don't have a rational explanation, but every time I see a nice bolt I think "that will be perfect when I find my xxxxx barreled receiver." Needless to say, I have WAY more bolts than barreled receivers.

Early parts are my poison, especially gas trap vintage parts. I'm completely out of control with them.

I'm a sucker for nice stock sets. The striping on this one literally shifts as the rifle is moved.

Looks like that stock is birch. Some birch is wonderfully figured. Other birch is boring. Yours is definitely NOT boring.

Cheaper and plentiful parts that fit the '14 (At least until I get my M1 lol)

Bayonets are my weakness...started with just one to make my first M1 complete (so I thought), now I have one of each manufacture. It's hard for to pass one up when I see it.

My wife helps me resist all kinds of things..... but when she's not looking I actually like pristine or nearly pristine trigger housings. They seem fairly rare as they collected so much moisture
and pitted so easily. Those and WWII barrels. Now I just need a good receiver.....
