Ejection Problems with a SLED clip.

Gentlemen, my Garand is H&R and has been as far as I can tell, been completely reworked including a new Criterion barrel. It functions correctly with an 8rnd. en-bloc clip. Ejection is very positive with both empty brass and expended clips. My problems start when wanting to single load with a SLED clip. When pushing all the way in, it does not want to stay seated. And the times I get it to stay in the rifle, it ejects itself when I seat the one round to shoot. I could use some advice from the people who know more than I do to solve my issue. Thank You for your Assistance

Generally there is a tab on the left side that locks it in place between the receiver legs. It may need to bent outward a LITTLE bit. You should need a knife point or small screw driver to get it out. At least that's how mine works.

OK TJ, I'm not exactly sure about what you mean, but i'll check it when I have a few minutes. I don't remember seeing any tabs anywhere between the receiver legs.

TJ, I'm sorry, I looked and did not see what I think i'm supposed to see. Can you elaborate?

If you can pm me your phone number or email, I'll take a picture of it and send or text it to you. I have to use my phone 'cause my computer is on the fritz and I haven't figured out yet how to send a pic from my phone to a forum.

TJ, Thank You for your assistance, I finally got it through my thick skull that you were talking about the SLED itself, and not the receiver of my rifle. MY Bad
