Nice looking rifle, in any case...…………….eventually I will own a Winchester to almost complete my collection.

It completely depends on your definition of "mostly Winchester parts." Receiver internals, gas cylinder, plug, op rod, rear sight, front sight, buttplate, etc, etc. Without a full accounting of all the parts any estimates are pure speculation. The barrel is not original nor that valuable. It's a late "Winchester script barrel" probably installed at a past rebuild in the 50's.

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on the make up of the individual parts and over all condition, plus what someone is willing to shell out for it. For me--the incorrect barrel would kill it for me.

Depending on if the barrel has good readings, even with a replacement it has to still be worth a grand isn't it?

Winchester M1 garand
Winchester m1 garand. Mostly winchester parts. Boyd stock. I have several and may part with this one in the future. What value would be placed on this m1? Any imput would be helpful. Thanks .5 PhotosTags: None
