x Marking Near Follower Arm Pin Hole

Anyone know what the signifigance of an "x" marking near follower arm pin hole on the receiver?

It means the hole is out of spec and dangerous to use. Send the rifle to me for proper disposal.
Just kidding. It's just an "in process" inspection stamp.

An "in process" stamp shows that a certain dimension has been checked and that it is "in spec".
