    Bump Firing an M1

I DO NOT recommend doing this, but you got to admit, 8 rounds of 30-06 going full auto with a PING at the end is absolutely EPIC!

Semi-Automatic M1 Garand shooting like a Fully-Automatic using the bump fire technique. The rifle does not have to be altered in any way and is not illegal. ...

These stupid politicians are going to be responsible for arrest of God for manufacturing a bump firing apparatus and everyone else on earth for possession.

Those are non-California approved fingers he has there. They must be altered before entrance to California, New York, Massachusetts, or New Jersey. Tell me about it. If read and understood correctly, the Second Amendment says, "shall not be infringed". So if I want to own a belt fed MG42 I should be able to without having to register it, or pay the tax stamp on it and clear it with the local police. End of story.

Any excuse is good enough to protect the coming socialist government of America.

Actually, CT has tried to ban even the Garand with previous legislation. Generally there was enough resistance to get it out of the restrictions. No guarantee that this will continue.

The thief may possess something he stole, but he does not own it.
The owner has a right to take his property back from the thief.

Funny you mention it. But even as socialistic as a country like Canada is, they make an exception for the M1 because of it's unique design as far as the en-bloc clip goes.
