I have ordered 200 rounds of S&B ammo just waiting on the delivery. In the meantime my friend has a couple box’s of Federal 150 grain soft point. Can I put that through my M1?

I don't know the specifics of this particular ammo, but the generally accepted answer is not advisable. You can switch over to one of the commercially available gas plugs (e.g. a Schuster) that allow you to vent off some of the excess gas pressure that keeps you and your Garand safe while still properly cycling the action. Simple answer. No. Unless you wish to risk damage. Personally I'm not a believer in most of that Garandgear data. 90% of commercial non-M1 specific ammo uses powder with burn rates far too slow for Garand use. His data even indicates that green box Remington CoreLoct 150 ammo is OK but it uses 4350 powder. That is not even close to a powder appropriate for M1 ammo.
