    2017 GCA Convention Photos

A few friends of mine were walking through the convention and snapped these photos.
Imagine having any of those rifles!

It's too bad the GCA didn't have their convention where they could sponser vintage and vintage sniper matches as they have in the last few years. It's one of the reasons I stayed home this year. Combining the two is a great time. The conventions in Cody were fantastic. So many things to do and see from the amazing museum and firearm museum, Yellowstone and the Custer Battlefield monument. One of the best vacations we've had in recent memory. AND I was able to buy a Winchester Navy 7.62 barreled receiver from CMP on the trip. Made my day along with a medal in the sniper match shooting with a GCA director as my partner.

The exhibits were great. USMC museum was very impressive. The convention dinner was good and I met a bunch of great people. Orest was there. However, I was disappointed that no rifles were for sale. Also, no rumors or talks about future releases.
