Just received the Spring 2017 issue number 106, These are excellent newsletters published quarterly at a subscription rate of $30 for four issues. Address is Garand Stand, PO Box 82, Iola Texas 77861-0082.

cover photo shows two Model Shop rifles with early clips,seven original gas trap rifles and one Model Shop rifle converted to gas port in 1945. Also an excellent article on the Duplex 22-06 rifles, a
photo from Jan 10th, 1941 of an early Winchester partially disassembled plus a number of M1 rifle related articles.

I agree with you Robert. There is a lot of good information in The Garand Stand Report . Both the GSR and the GCA journal are outstanding sources for information on the Garand.

Hopefully Billy will do a more in depth article on the rifles on the front cover . That would be outstanding.
