    Revision 2 trigger variation

Not really rare but the revision 2 trigger with the high hump sear does show-up

The reason is not known nor is this high hump found on other triggers

I have to check my revision 2 triggers for the high hump sear. Can't say that I ever noticed that before. Very cool.

Is it known what manufacturer(s) these are?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd assume all of these would be of Springfield Armory manufacture.

Correct, they are Springfield manufactured during the gas trap period.

You can also find Winchester triggers with a S on the sear too. Some think it was a replacement part, none are
parkerized, always without finish. Lyman was a possible manufacturer ?

The revision 2 triggers posted above, serial number 21167 (gas trap rifle) has the revision 2 trigger with the early sear
