I'm glad to see these. Wasn't that blast deflector rumored to be used in Alaska during the Aleutian campaign? I remember a gas trap being auctioned off with one such device around 4 - 6 years ago that had one. There was a big discussion about it because it had parts changed before the auction to make it correct for when it was assembled rather than keeping it in its current state as found. It's really neat to see another one. What is the story behind the device?
