My 38K looks really bright in the full sun but I wanted to enhance the wood figure. Old inside photo looks better Click image for larger version Name:	P1010055_0052.jpg Views:	0 Size:	79.0 KB ID:	36263

What exactly is or what constitutes an "early rebuild"? What does that mean and how does that compare to an original or correct rifle? Are they mixmasters? Or how would one differentiate between an "early rebuild" and a "late rebuild"? What would be the difference between an "early rebuild" and a "late rebuild"? Are "early rebuilds" mixmasters using early parts only?

            Beautiful rifles, very nice heelstamps.

Man, that one stick is pretty fancy.
Is the Parkerize colour on that light green because it's a zinc based? Saw that mentioned in another thread once and wanted to know for sure as I never asked there. I've seen Carbines that were redone way after the war that look similar to that.
