Another WRA Part Sold as SA

Purchased a handguard with Grooved Rear Handguard Clip and Grooved Lower Band. I took the Clip off to inspect the underside as I noticed rough machining marks on it. There is the Winchester punch mark!😃I'm getting good at this!

I wouldnt go by punch mark alone, SA also punch marked parts
There should be milling lines on the top of the clip

back in the early to mid 90's, there was a man in Utah who would take Winchester operating rod (light stamps were best) and remove the WRA markings and restamp them D35382-0. He also made an excellent copy of the straight ear front sight but eliminated some machine work, photo shows fake on top

Sounds like a bit of a scum bag! That being said I'd love a front Sight haha!
