    early screw and rear swivel

When I was an armorer I found these parts in the spare parts and decided to find a better home for them. At the time I was not really familiar with common parts that had the drawing number but realized these had to be really early. I found this swivel in a well beat GAW stock this past summer. That was a shocking find. Still have not stumbled onto a numbered screw.

Alot of no trap Springfield and Winchester stocks had the rear swivel and long screw removed by a hammer to salvage these parts. This caused a large piece of wood to be removed from the butt stock. If you have an early SA or WRA stock check for repair as these could be salvaged for collectors
