The Garand Stand Report is a magazine that many people miss out on. Not as flashy as the GCA journal but has great articles with info you don't find other places

For anyone interested in Gas Trap M1 Garands I highly recommend Billy Pyle's book "The Gas Trap Garand". The book is hardcover and 296 pages. It is out of print but it my understanding if you contact Billy Pyle thru the Garand Stand Report you may be able to obtain a copy.
