Picked up this M1 the other day at the local gun shop, it has a great bore and shoots better than any garand I’ve ever owned. Paid $1000 out the door.

If memory serves me, the A4 is for Anniston Arsenal. If I'm wrong on that, someone will be along shortly to crucufy and correct me. The 7-64 shows rebuilt in July 1964.
