Here are a few pictures of the 8-40 I had posted about, I was hesitant to even post pictures since it is in no way correct. Wrong stock, receiver has been refinished, op rod is one of the unmarked type which is earlier, some of the internals are not correct. This is basically a representative place holder really. For what it is worth.

stocks were converted to trap door but everything else remain the same, there are examples around.
