    As I was sorting through piles of follower assemblies and found these in the mix
    Paul identified them as Winchester

      Very nice... couldn't we all be so lucky! Thanks for sharing... hard to tell from the angles but a couple at least look to be long noses... I'm interested...just saying....

        Very nice, early 45 deg. slides . That follower is used between the 20 deg bull nose and the later pattern. If you notice the slide comes to a sharp point at both ends where the later slides are bobbed off on one end.

            the 45x45 degree slide was used to around mid 1941 from the information that I have -

            photo shows Winchester 111709 with 45x45 degree slide - photo will not post so I have another photo that shows the Winchester followers and slides used in 1941

                I would appreciate if you can tell me which slide would be correct for Winchester 161293 . I have both followers and slides pictured in #5. I've never found any reference in my books and GCA Journal s going back to 2001. The description is only described as early and late.
