What does the above statement mean by, "some repair?"

I have a hard time believing that the finish is original. Looks more like an early arsenal refinish to me.

You would think that they would disclose any issues, repair could mean a lot of things (VFW tack, repair to receiver heel or leg etc). The lack of photos does not help either.

I agree. It may be the picture, but the chamber does not look "in the white" to me.

I agree. Chamber ring does not look in the white. But that does not seem to effect the bidding. 5 days to go 72 bids and over 7 grand. Two days ago it was in mid 4 grand range and 40 some bids. Crazy

It does not have that dulite look to me. It sure looks like it was also annealed too, but I'll leave that up to the experts... I like Roberts finish better.

These guys are crazy running up the bid with 37 hrs to go. I wonder how many guys are bidding it up knowing it will go higher than they intend to pay. The last 10 minutes will tell who is willing to pay top dollar.
