the un-marked revision 4 has the D shape dismount hole that is larger than the post war un-marked followers. The larger dismount or snap-out D shaped hole will break the edges of the follower arm track, while the post war follower will not break the edges. Photo shows revision 4

Charlie Redfield estimate use of the revision 4 follower was between 41,000 to 231,000 serial number range. You always have to include overlap too
