Anyone else a Hard Rock/Classic Rock/Metal fan?

One of my other major hobbies/weaknesses is hard rock and metal. I have been on a classic rock and hair metal kick lately. I bought 28 Scorpions CDs and 3 Black Sabbath CDs I didn't have. $413.

But the 50th band Anniversary major CDs just came out for the Scorps so I wanted the 50th Remasters and figured I'd just re-do the whole discography.

Musically I'm all over the place if its good, its good but please no Country my dog died and women left me so I need too drink beer BS. I don't really have fav' groups more like fav tunes. Lately, I've been getting hard core grinds from THC no not that THC, Texas Hippie Connection. My wife can't stand my music choices and asked me if there was some middle ground she could load in the i-pod for the car. The radio station sux, up here in the PNW. Well growing up as a kid in the 70's there was all kinds of good music. There is a little age difference between us, 4 years not much but enough that some of the music I remember as cool she didn't even know about. So I drug out a list as best as I could remember of all the cool groovy music I could remember like, KC and the Sunshine Band, Gap Band, Snif'n the Tears all kinds of cool groove stuff too jam on and it went from there.

So, I guess as far as driving music I'm stuck in a 70-80-90's retro vortex and anything Motley Crue and AC/DC. I did get a cool tune complement from a very hot chick I would have liked too have made homemade porn vid's with from a jeep, while I was jamming too "Driver Seat". No the wife wasn't with me, If she was I wouldn't have my head on my shoulders..

I'm gonna check them out, Texas Hippie Coalition. Heard of them but haven't checked it out yet. I thought that was the band with Pantera members but that was Hellyeah, had Dime's brother I think. They're from Texas too.

I don't know if you like kick ass lead guitar, check out Joe Satriani. I love Yngwie Malmsteen too, seen them both twice, in person is even more awesome.

I like a wide array of rock/hard rock/metal so I guess it is the songs that I like more than a particular group, even though I have some favorites.
