    Went to the dark side

After being a die hard Ford man my whole life I crossed over to Chevy. My F-150 still ran like a top but was rusting bad and I decided to take a look at the dealership. The next day I now own a new Midnight Edition Silverado. Man how trucks have changed in the last 10 years, there are more gadgets, bells and whistles on this thing than one man ever needs. Its ridiculous trucks arent just trucks anymore but I like it

Nice looking truck. I'm a Ford man too. I agree that they put too many toys in the vehicles these days. To me it is just more things I will never use and more stuff to break.
When did a truck stop becoming a truck and turn into a luxury vehicle ?

I would have stayed with Ford but the new all aluminum bodies scare me. Maybe after they have been out for a few more years but I dont want to be their guinea pig

Nice truck! I have a 2011 GMC Sierra. A guy at work spent 40k on a Toyota that doesn't have remote start. What a dork.

I'm just pulling your chain, buddy! That's a really sweet looking truck.

I kinda cringed when I learned about the aluminum Ford trucks, I almost couldn't type it right now. We just got Chevy free, had been planning for some good stuff now wonder what they're smokin' over at the blue oval. First canned the Ranger which was my favorite, then this aluminum crap. If I get a Ranger it will obviously be a used one now, I'm not interested in the bigger one they're cooking up and the old ones are truly (old) Ford tough.
I am a true Ford guy though. I also started wondering why you didn't just rebuild the truck you had. Too much screwing around involved?

When you live in the rust belt and panels start rusting through there is not much you can do beisdes pull off every piece of sheet metal and start over. It isnt worth it

I love my Ranger. I can't figure out what Ford is doing either. The 2019 Ranger seems like it will be the size of what the old F-150 used to be. I will be looking for an older used Ranger too. There are still low mileage 2010-2011 Rangers out there.

                        Now that's a nice truck!
I have a new F-150. It's my second one, and I really like it. We'll see what it looks like in a few years, though. I live on the shore so rust is a big deal here, too.
