Loading up a couple of 100cnt range boxes of 6.5 Creedmoor for practical precision demonstrations this weekend. Load is 40. gn of H4350 under 140 gn Berger Hybrid Target bullets. These run right around 2600 fps which seem to be in the notch for my shooting. Sure are pretty bullets. Whatta Hobby!

Those are pretty bullets. I like Bergers. The BC on those is fantastic, I think they're 144gr? at any rate all of the 6.5Cs are awesome on BC numbers. I'm deep into .308 but maybe when I rebarrel one of my rifles and if components get back to normal I might try 6.5C. I was just talking about it with a buddy who is a former Marine desert storm era sniper and he loves it. I'll have to give it a second look.

I have a few M14s in 6.5 Creedmoor, but it really makes me smile in my Savage BA Stealth. Just a joy to place the bullets exactly where you want them to go.Comment
