Brian,thanks for posting photo of the early ammo. I got the box of .276 several years ago and the WWII box 30-06 about the same time. I just recently was given Gen Hatcher's "Notebook" and notice a picture of gas trap with a note saying the M1 was originally was chambered in .276cal. Thought you M1 guys would like to see these.
