Any Thoughts on PPU Ammo ???

    Here's their website: http://www.prvipartizan.com

Any thoughts on their ammo? Seems like several folks on other sites say it's accurate and reliable.

I have used it recently, It is pretty good. Not the #1 for me as far as match grade ammo goes but for the price it is good to go. I use it for long distance steel basically. I have got good results so far.

Yes, Sir. I haven't been able to try any .30-'06 yet.

Their .30-'06 ammo gets 5 stars at Midway, for what it's worth.

Their 30-06 M2 ball ammo is very good stuff. Very close in comparison to HXP as far as accuracy, and has good reloadable brass .

I'm in the process of evaluating brass in both .308 and 30-06. Measuring thousands of cases for weight etc. Just for fun, and to make some kind of comparisons of both military and
civilian brass. So far I can say that PPU brass compares very favorably to military brass in weight. Better than a lot of commercial brass I've been checking. For what it's worth...

I've been using the 30/06 for a year or 2 now. I have to agree with everyone else. It's not match grade ammo, but it's great shooting ammo. All mine has been super clean, never had a malfunction with it. Cases are good for reloading, so I take a range day, load up on brass then reload the case for my match ammo. It's worked out well for me so far.

If you go too the m14 firing line I have listed 30.06 and 7.62mm case weights by year. For some reason I can't drag that info and post it here, all you need too do is search my Name and case weight by year. That should save you a mountain of work.
