The clip on the left has the notches cut through each side and the design of the web pattern on the back is different.
The clips with the notches cut though are the first issue.

Very early Winchester clips had the wrong location for the notches and were returned to Winchester and the notches
were re-cut, Most of these re-cut clips stayed at the factory and were used in testing the new rifles from production

The WRA clip on the left is of the early type, with sharp top rings and cut through retaining notches...Nice set!!!

I guess I have Springfield clips, if they are not Winchester? Only clips I have came with the CMP kit 3 clips in all, I also bought Greece, sardine can, had Bandoliers, with loaded clips and card board inserts. When I hunted at Fort Lewis, 50s and early 60s I picked up blank ammo had ammo cans full of it, use to fire it off on the Fourth of July. If you were caught with it, they banded you from hunting.

Isn't there like 75+ different manufacturers/different markings from the same manufacturer, of M1 Garand clips?
